Week 9 - Sneaky Tricks and Tactics

Ben’s Breakout Player – Dez Bryant, WR Dallas Cowboys We all saw the way Dez Bryant erupted on the sideline last week when he thought the Cowboys were going to lose. This is the type of fire I love to see from the Star WR on my fantasy team! Yes Bryant only had 3 receptions last week, but 2 of the 3 went for touchdowns so you can’t be that upset! Now is the time to start Dez Bryant with no hesitation, he is looking to put up a big game to back up his actions on the sideline! BAILEY’S BENCH ‘EM- Matt Ryan QB Falcons and Steven Jackson RB Falcons Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons were beat up at Arizona last week and now have to travel to Carolina, to play a top five defense. Not only does Ryan play against the number two defense against QBs this week, but Roddy White did not practice again Wednesday and it doesn’t look good for him to play Sunday. Harry Douglas has filled in decently and Tony Gonzalez did not get traded, so all is not lost for Ryan, but this division road game does not sit well with me. Now, with Steven Jackson at least getting back on the field, fantasy owners have a better feeling of what he may bring for the rest of the season. However, I don’t see this week to be a very productive one for Jackson. Carolina is ranked 12th against RBs this year, but with Jackson just getting back and trying to get into game shape, this match up does not look good for Atlanta’s running game. Hence, I can see Jacquizz Rodgers getting the majority of the RB production on third downs and late in the game, when Ryan will be throwing the ball. SY SU’S SLEEPER: NEW ORLEANS SAINTS WR KENNY STILLS – THE ROOKIE IS COMING OFF WEEK 8 WITH 129 YARDS AND TWO TOUCHDOWNS – THAT’S THREE TOUCHDOWNS IN HIS LAST TWO GAMES, WHICH IS AS MANY TOUCHDOWNS AS VETERANS MARQUES COLSTON, LANCE MOORE, AND ROBERT MEACHEM HAVE COMBINED THIS SEASON! WITH GRAHAM NOT HEALTHY, LOOK FOR DREW BREES TO KEEP GUNNING IT TO HIS YOUNG DEEP THREAT. Top 5 QB’s Andy Dalton – The Cincinnati Red is rolling right along this season! Those of you lucky enough to draft Dalton have really enjoyed the last three games of 30 plus fantasy points for sure. How about 11 touchdowns in those 3 games with only 2 interceptions….Yes please! In this bye heavy week Dalton is a safe choice to throw in your lineup! Phillip Rivers – The decision to start Phillip Rivers this week was an easy one. Some might go as far as to say a slam-dunk in my opinion! Washington is giving up the forth most fantasy points per game to opposing QB’s this season. Rivers has already produced three 400-yard passing performances this season. Alex Smith – Smith is coming of another good performance last weekend against the Cleveland Browns. He went 24-36 for 225 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, he added another 40 yards on the ground. The Chiefs face the 26th Ranked defense this week in the Bills, who are giving up 263 passing yards on average. Aaron Rodgers – Mr. Rodgers is definitely running things in his hood these days! Rodgers over the last four games has thrown 7 touchdown passes with only 1 interception. Rodgers has torched the Bears in the last 4 games against them completing 69.6 percent of his throws for 1,090 yards and 12 touchdowns. Drew Brees – Brees is coming of a stellar performance last week against the Bills, where he threw for 5 touchdowns and no interceptions. Andy Dalton threw for 5 touchdowns against the Jets in week 8, so Brees will look to do the same thing. He is a must start this week for sure!!! TOP FIVE RB’S Jamaal Charles- Jamaal Charles and the Kansas City Chiefs will be traveling north to play the Buffalo Bills. Does this really mean anything though? No, because Charles is producing all over the United States. The Bills defense is ranked ninth against RBs this year, but I can see Charles having a very productive day, with around 15points. Plus, who isn’t starting Charles these days? Nobody! Marshawn Lynch- Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks will be playing only their fourth home game in nine games against the Tamp Bay Buccaneers and it will bring a great energy to the players. Lynch was upset last week, when Seattle’s OC did not give him the ball at the one yard line twice. Also, HC Pete Carroll said himself that Lynch will see more carries. The Bucs also are the eighth worst defense against RBs in fantasy this year. Matt Forte- Matt Forte and the Chicago Bears face the Packers in Green Bay. I like Forte this week because he is a work horse and the Packers defense is in the middle of the pack against RBs this year. Also, the fact that Jay Cutler is out for the next few weeks puts more pressure on Forte to produce and keep the Bears offense productive. Eddie Lacy- Lacy, like Forte will be used heavily on Monday against the Bears. Aaron Rodgers and the offensive coaches for the Packers seem to have more trust with Lacy. The Bears have experienced some heavy injuries on the defensive side this year and along with that, the Bears are the 12th worst team against RBs this year. I know I will be starting Lacy and expecting good numbers from him. Danny Woodhead- Danny Woodhead and the San Diego Chargers will be heading to Washington D.C. to face the Redskins. The Redskins are the sixth worst defense against RBs this year and Woodhead averages ten-plus points in most leagues. The Redskins defense has been sketchy all year and I am really excited for Woodhead’s match up this week. Bonus- Jacquizz Rodgers, in my opinion will receive the production on third downs and in garbage time against the Panthers. TOP 5 WRs DEZ BRYANT – TONY ROMO WASN’T REALLY LOOKING AT HIS BIG-MOUTH RECEIVER’S WAY BUT DEZ SHOWED HE DESERVED MORE, MAKING THE MOST OF HIS THREE CATCHES, WITH TWO OF THEM IN THE ENDZONE. BRYANT’S WEEK 9 MATCHUP WORKS IN HIS FAVOR AGAINST THE VIKINGS, THAT HAVE ALLOWED THE 8TH MOST FANTASY POINTS TO WIDE RECEIVERS JORDY NELSON – COMING OFF A HUGE PERFORMANCE IN WEEK 8 (7 REC, 123 YDS, 2 TDS), JORDY IS THE LEAD MAN IN AN INJURED RECEIVING CORP OF AARON RODGERS. HE ATTRACTED NEARLY ALL THE SECONDARY ATTENTION LAST WEEK AND WILL AGAIN THIS WEEK AGAINST A TOUGHER CHICAGO DEFENSE. BRANDON MARSHALL – THOUGH JAY CUTLER WENT DOWN (GROIN), HIS REPLACEMENT JOSH MCCOWN CONTINUED TO THROW IT TO MARSHALL’S WAY. WITH A BYE IN WEEK 8, MARSHALL AND MCCOWN SHOULD GO INTO WEEK 9 ON THE SAME PAGE. A.J. GREEN – A.J. CONTINUED HIS 100-PLUS YARD STREAK WITH 115 YARDS ON ONLY 3 CATCHES IN WEEK 9, AVERAGING NEARLY 125 YARDS PER GAME IN HIS LAST THREE WEEKS. THE RED HEAD ANDY DALTON HAS BEEN RED HOT AND GREEN IS THE MAIN BENEFACTOR. JOSH GORDON – BIG SURPRISE WITH JOSH GORDON MAKING MY TOP 5, BUT IT IS EXPECTED BY GORDON OWNERS WHO ENJOYED 132 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN WITH QB JASON CAMPBELL AGAINST THE TOUGH KANSAS CITY DEFENSE. LOOK FOR CAMPBELL AND GORDON TO CONTINUE BUILDING ON THIS. BONUS – MARVIN JONES – JONES IS DALTON’S OTHER BIG TARGET, MAKING FANTASY NOISE WITH 122 YARDS AND FOUR TOUCHDOWNS! ENJOY HIS STREAK OF 6 TOUCHDOWNS IN THE LAST 3 WEEKS FOR NOW, BECAUSE WITH THE RETURN OF ANDREW HAWKINS TAKING AWAY SOME OF JONES’ SNAPS, THE BEST HAS ALREADY PASSED. TOP 5 TEs - JIMMY GRAHAM – THE TIGHT END POSITION IS SO LIMITED THAT EVEN A QUESTIONABLE GRAHAM (FOOT) TOPS MY LIST. HE PLAYED LESS THAN 20 SNAPS WITH ONLY 3 CATCHES, BUT MADE MOST OF THE OPPORTUNITY WITH TWO TOUCHDOWNS. ROB GRONKOWSKI – DESPITE STRUGGLING LAST WEEK FOR TWO CATCHES FOR 27 YARDS, GRONK NEARLY CAUGHT A TOUCHDOWN TO VALIDATE THE PERFORMANCE – BUT HE HAS REACHED PAY DIRT 3 TIMES IN HIS 2 MEETINGS AGAINST HIS WEEK 9 OPPONENT, PITTSBURGH. I AM WILLING TO PROMISE THAT ON HIS THIRD ACTIVE WEEK, GRONK WILL SCORE A TOUCHDOWN. ANTONIO GATES – IT’S A GOOD NEWS AND BETTER NEWS SITUATION: GOOD NEWS – GATES IS STILL THE TOP RECEIVER OF PHILIP RIVERS, ONE OF THE TOP QBS IN FANTASY THIS SEASON; BETTER NEWS – SAN DIEGO IS PLAYING A POOR REDSKINS DEFENSE THAT’S ALLOWED A TOUCHDOWN TO A TIGHT END IN ALL BUT ONE WEEK THIS SEASON. BONUS – TIMOTHY WRIGHT – MISSING JULIUS THOMAS OR VERNON DAVIS THIS WEEK DUE TO THEIR BYES? LOOK FOR TAMPA BAY’S TIMOTHY WRIGHT, ESPECIALLY IN DEEP LEAGUES. EMERGING QB MIKE GLENNON HAS THROWN 5 TDS IN LAST 3 WEEKS, INCLUDING ONE TO HIS TIGHT END. PLUS, WITH THE SEASON-ENDING INJURY TO MIKE WILLIAMS (HAMSTRING), WRIGHT IS GLENNON’S GO-TO GUY, SECOND TO ONLY VINCENT JACKSON.

Fantasy Football Week 8 - Sneaky Tricks and Tactics

It’s Thursday and we’ve had three days now to either lick are wounds or celebrate in either case it’s time to get back in the saddle as Week 8 kicks off and as you know there are no bad NFL games during the fantasy season as someone always has a player on the board and tonight many will be in play with Cam Newton so there will be reasons to watch. As we move on to the weekend here’s your sneaky tricks and tactics to make sure you come out on top come Tuesday morning: SY SU’S SLEEPER - MIKE JAMES, TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS RB – THE INJURY BUG BIT DOUG MARTIN BAD WITH A TORN LABRUM. IN A LACKLUSTER OFFENSE, MARTIN WAS CARRYING A MAJOR WORKLOAD. IN A YEAR WHERE FANTASY RUNNING BACKS HAVE BEEN UNDERACHEIVING OVERALL, PICK UP JAMES SOLELY FOR THE FACT HE’LL GET A STARTER’S LOAD OF CARRIES, WHICH IS RARE TO FIND ON THE WAIVER WIRE AT THIS POINT OF THE SEASON. HE WON’T OPEN A LOT OF EYES, BUT HE’LL BE FINE FOR AN RB3 OR EVEN FLEX. BAILEY'S BENCH EM - Justin Blackmon WR Jaguars Blackmon has produced pretty well since returning from a suspension, however he faces a very good defense this week, with a tough secondary. Blackmon is the Jaguars best offensive weapon, but with the 49ers back to their old winning ways, with running the ball more and eating up the clock, this will be a tough match up for Blackmon to produce. So, it seems if you have to play Blackmon, hope for Chad Henne to start and for the 49ers to go up big early, so the Jaguars have to pass a bunch. Ben’s Breakout Player – Anquan Boldin WR 49er’s Anquan Boldin is becoming a favorite target this season for Colin Kaepernick and not only on third downs! Boldin has 34 receptions for 495 yards and 2 touchdowns through 7 games this season. Boldin could be in store for a big game this week against a weak jaguars defense that gives up 238 passing yards on average. TOP 5 WRs CALVIN JOHNSON – MEGATRON IS BACK AFTER AN INJURY-PLAGUED 3 WEEKS, RESPONDING WITH 9 CATCHES, 155 YARDS AND TWO TOUCHDOWNS! EXPECT ANOTHER GREAT WEEK FOR JOHNSON AND THE DEEP BALL IN A SHOOTOUT VS. DALLAS DEZ BRYANT – SPEAKING OF DALLAS, DEZ WILL BE THE OTHER HUGE BENEFACTOR IN THE COWBOYS/LIONS MATCHUP. AFTER UNDERPERFORMING THE LAST TWO WEEKS AGAINST POOR DEFENSES, HE’LL GET A TD OR TWO AGAINST THE 6TH WORST FANTASY DEFENSE AGAINST RECEIVERS JORDY NELSON – WITH INJURIES TO RANDALL COBB AND JAMES JONES, AND NOW, JERMICHAEL FINLEY, NELSON IS AARON RODGERS’ ONLY CONSISTENT TARGET IN A PASS-HAPPY OFFENSE AGAINST A VIKINGS DEFENSE THAT HAS ALLOWED THE THIRD-MOST IN PASSING YARDS A.J. GREEN – FROM GREEN BAY TO A.J. GREEN, HE’S BACK AFTER A COLD STREAK OF A MONTH OF SUB-100-YARD GAMES AND NOW AVERAGING 129 YDS AND A TD IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS DEMARYIUS THOMAS – I COULD’VE EASILY PUT ANY OF MANNING’S MERRY MEN (WES WELKER, ERIC DECKER) HERE, BUT THE BRONCOS’ MATCHUP AGAINST THE POOR WASHINGTON DEFENSE BONUS – HARRY DOUGLAS – MATT RYAN’S FILL-IN TARGET IS COMING OFF A CAREER-HIGH 149 YARDS, ALONG WITH A TOUCHDOWN. WITH JULIO JONES OUT FOR THE SEASON AND RODDY WHITE STILL BOTHERED BY INJURIES, RYAN WILL CONTINUE TO TARGET HIS NOW TOP TARGET. ALSO, REGGIE WAYNE OWNERS! GRAB JARRETT BOYKIN NOW! LAST WEEK, JORDY NELSON STRUGGLED, GAINING THE ATTENTION OF CLEVELAND’S DEFENSE, BUT BENEFITTING BOYKIN FOR 103 YARDS AND 1 TD IN HIS 8 CATCHES. TOP 5 TEs ROB GRONKOWSKI – IN HIS FIRST GAME BACK FROM MULTIPLE SURGERIES (BACK, FOREARM), GRONK RETURNED TO BEING TOM BRADY’S MAIN MAN WITH 8 CATCHES AND 114 YARDS – THAT’S LITERALLY HALF OF BRADY’S PASS YARDAGE IN THE GAME! EXPECT THINGS TO GET BETTER AGAINST THE SECOND WORST FANTASY DEFENSE AGAINST TIGHT ENDS, THE MIAMI DOLPHINS JULIUS THOMAS – AS MENTIONED FOR DEMARYIUS THOMAS (SEE ABOVE), ANYBODY THAT’S CATCHING BALLS FROM PEYTON MANNING, ESPECIALLY AGAINST A POROUS DEFENSE, LIKE WASHINGTION, IS HIGH ON MY BOOK. VERNON DAVIS – HE’S BECOME KAEPERNICK’S TOP TARGET FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS, AVERAGING 100+ YARDS AND A TD IN THE LAST THREE. BY THE WAY, THE JAGUARS’ DEFENSE HAS ALLOWED 5 TDS IN THE LAST 5 WEEKS BONUS – JIMMY GRAHAM – QUESTION MARKS SURROUND FANTASY FOOTBALL’S TOP TIGHT END. AS OF WEDNESDAY, HE DID NOT PRACTICE YET, DESPITE THE BYE WEEK. HE’S LISTED AS QUESTIONABLE, BUT IF HE DOES PLAY, BE WARRY AGAINST THE BILLS DEFENSE THAT’S SECOND BEST IN FANTASY VS. TIGHT ENDS. TO BE SAFE OR TO REPLACE YOUR INJURED TIGHT END, LIKE JERMICHAEL FINLEY, GRAB JORDAN REED, WHO’S BUILT A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH ROBERT GRIFFIN III, AND PROVING IT WITH 9 CATCHES, 134 YARDS, AND A TD LAST WEEK. TOP 5 RB's 1) Jamaal Charles- Charles is exploding this year and he should continue to produce heavily this week versus the Browns. The Browns defense has been competitive this year, but playing at Kansas City is a difficult task. Charles is the focus of the Chiefs offense and is top five in rushing yards this year. Look for Charles to get his usual total of 15-20 points. 2) Adrian Peterson- Peterson has been a let down for fantasy owners the past two weeks, but only a real jerk would get mad about it, with the passing of AP's son just two weeks ago. I expect and hope for AP to get back mentally and produce at home versus the Packers this week. This is not the same Packers of the last two years. They have injury concerns and vulnerabilities. The Vikings should give the ball to AP a lot and take some of that pressure away from the QB carousel going on in Minnesota. 3) Marshawn Lynch- Lynch and the Seahawks are playing in another prime time game and will be on plenty of rest. Lynch is top five in rushing yards this year so far and Seattle is a heavy run team. With the Rams losing Sam Bradford for the season, the offense will only struggle more and more, which in theory will only give Lynch and the Seahawks offense more opportunities to run and eat up that clock. Lynch looks great for this match up and for weeks to come. 4) LeSean McCoy- Like Charles, McCoy is the center piece of this offense and this weeks match up against the lowly New York Giants, looks good. McCoy leads the NFL in rushing yards and should continue that production at home. Another reason to be pleased about this match up, is because the Eagles top two QBs are banged up and that should funnel the work load towards McCoy. 5) Knowshon Moreno- Cracking my top five list this year for the first time, Knowshon looks to have a great game this week at home versus the Redskins. Knowshon probably should have cracked my list earlier this year, because he has been producing well and is obviously the number one back in Denver. This weeks match up favors everyone on the Broncos, because of how bad the Redskins defense is this year. Party time in Denver Sunday! Bonus: Frank Gore- The 49ers are running the ball again and it makes Gore's fantasy owners proud again. The 49ers will have to travel to sunny Florida and and face a scrappy Jaguars defense, but that should be no problem for the 49ers great offensive line and Gore. Look for the 49ers to continue their offensive production. TOP 5 QB’s Peyton Manning – 237 Fantasy Points! Do I need to say more? Peyton has on average 70 more points this season than any other fantasy player. Denver is playing the Redskins this week, who have giving up 262 passing yards on average this season. Peyton and his stable of weapons should have any easy day. Colin Kaepernick – The San Francisco 49er’s face the Jacksonville Jaguars this week in Jacksonville. Kaepernick and 49er’s are back in midseason form winning 4 in a row, and not showing any signs of slowing down. Kaepernick only threw for 199 yds last week, but he carried the ball 11 times for 68 yds and a touchdown. Tony Romo – I know the Detroit defense has been having a solid season against the pass. Although Andy Dalton had a big game against them throwing for 372 yards with three touchdowns and no picks last week. The Lions have allowed at 274 passing yards in five straight games. This is why I think Romo is a good start this week. Russell Wilson – Russell Wilson is coming of a huge game against Arizona where he threw for 235 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Wilson is going up against a division rival this week in the Rams, but St. Louis is middle of the road against opposing QB’s this season. Look for Wilson to get some yards on the ground also against the Rams poor run defense. Drew Brees – Brees looks to be back on track after a two game slide, where he threw for under 300 yards per game. This week he faces a tough Buffalo Bills defense that has been looking more average over the last couple of weeks. Andy Dalton threw for 337 yards and 3 touchdowns against them in week 6, so the bills can be vulnerable against a good passing offense. Look for Brees to capitalize on this opportunity! Bonus- RG3 – Griffin is going up against the Denver Broncos that a giving up 319 passing yards on average this season. The Redskins will most likely be playing from behind giving RG3 a lot of opportunity to throw the ball!

Fantasy Football Sneaky Tricks and Tactics for Week 7

Bye(r) Beware Week 7 Normally the bye weeks have some Fantasy Owners pillaging through the waver wires to piece together some skill positions to make up for their lost points and hope they get some strong bench play to bail them out, however this may be one of the lighter weeks for that with just the Saints and Raiders taking a break. Between the two, it’s all about Drew Brees (100% ownership in all leagues) that is the immediate concern. Terrelle Pryor is a second stringer and available in almost 48% of the leagues. Brees spreads the love around too much to start any of the Saints receivers as they always seem to be one or two of them on the grab rack every week. Kenbrell Thompkins and Kenny Stills both got into double digits last week, but barely and they can be easily replaced. Now Denarius Moore has been pretty consistent and is mostly an #2 in most leagues and probably frustrated a lot of owners last week whom probably sat him going against that KC defense only to have him have a pretty good day going for 5/82/1. And how many of you decided to start Benjamin Watson last week over Jimmy Graham? Enough said, this week most of the players getting some R & R won’t be missed, but here’s the waver wire for the rest of us. Sneaky Tricks and Tactics for Week 6

Ben's Breakout Player - DEMARYIUS THOMAS - WR Denver Broncos Demaryius Thomas already has 4 touchdowns and he should be in good shape against the Jaguars. Jacksonville has been just below-average against opposing wide receivers as far as yardage is concernced, but they've been awful at limiting touchdowns to wideouts. This is a great week to be a owner of Thomas who should be big this week against the weak Jaguars defense. BAILEY'S BENCH EM: Maurice Jones-Drew - RB Jacksonville Jaguars MJD travels to Denver, where he and the Jaguars will most likely be down heavy with in the first half. If you don't have any other better options, MJD can probably get fantasy owners 5-8 points. Monte Ball might be a good replacement, because of how much Denver will be up early, Ball will probably get the load of the carries in the second half. Sy Su Sleeper - Keenan Allen, SD Chargers WR The injuries to Chargers receivers and the re-emergence of Philip Rivers has led to the rise of rookie WR Keenan Allen! In the last two weeks, the Cal product has been targeted 16 times, catching 11 for 195 yards (115 yards in Week 5), and a touchdown. With early season-ending injuries to Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander, Eddie Royal benefitted with 5 TDs in the first two weeks, but hasn't touched pay dirt since and hasn't caught more than three balls a game. Rivers, who's posted back-to-back 400+ yard performances, has been looking more Keenan's way, so grab him NOW!

Fantasy Football Week 5

(Bye)r Beware With the Vikings and Steelers coming back from across the pond and getting a week to get over the jet lag that means that many will be without a franchise back for a week as Adrian Peterson will be out for the week, and is the featured back in 100% of the leagues. Even more players will be disarmed this week and Big Ben will also be on the sidelines after a week abroad, a starting quarterback in 75% of the leagues, as will RG3 (whom may have needed the week off to get back on track) but was also taken in 100% of the leagues so many will be looking for the next Bryan Hoyer that can picked up on the wavier wire. If you want a sneaky tip, start Eli Manning if you have him or pick him up off the scrap pile as many have given up on him (available in 44% of leagues) as he has thrown 13 Touchdown passes vs. 2 interceptions in 4 home games versus the Eagles and the Eagles have allowed an average of 23 fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Phillip Rivers should also have a good game against the Raiders if you’re questioning weather or not to give him the start. Ben's Breakout Player- Dez Bryant WR , Dallas Cowboys This weeks Breakout Player is WR Dez Bryant of the Cowboys. Bryant goes up against the a Denver Broncos defense that is allowing 316 passing yards on average to opponents this season, so you can expect Bryant to come away with the majority of those yards. Coming off a disappointing loss last week to the Chargers where he had six catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets, Dez will look to continue his touchdown streak! Sy Su's Sleeper: Justin Blackmon, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars Some of you may say "Who?" especially since he has literally done nothing this season since he's been serving a drug suspension for the first four weeks--but I am high (no pun intended) on the return of second-year receiver Justin Blackmon of the Jaguars. In his rookie campaign, the first-rounder caught 64 passes for 865 yards with four touchdowns, including an especially impressive final month that featured at least six catches and 80 yards per game with two total TDs. Don't get too excited, yet! This success is credit to QB Chad Henne, who is now designated as backup to Blaine Gabbert, despite Gabbert throwing FIVE interceptions and ZERO scores on the year. Blackmon is a must-pickup this week but don't start him with these low expectations until Henne is once again named the starter. With Henne, Blackmon has the potential to be as good a WR2 for your roster but till the change, keep him on your bench as a WR4 or FLEX, if needed. Bailey's Bench 'Em: Ray Rice & CJ Spiller. Rice only gained 17 total yards last week and was a little dinged up. The addition of Eugene Munroe at tackle will help, but not in a matter of days. Spiller has only rushed for over 78yds once & still hasn't scored a TD this season. Enough said for both top ten fantasy draft picks that have been frustrating fantasy owners.

Fantasy Football Week 3 - Crafty Tricks and Tactics

Top Five QB Match Ups: 1) Peyton Manning vs Oakland 2) Michael Vick vs Kansas City 3) Colin Kaepernick vs Indianapolis 4) Matt Stafford @ Washington DC 5) Matt Ryan @ Miami Top Five RB Match Ups: 1) Adrian Peterson vs Cleveland 2) MarShawn Lynch vs Jacksonville 3) McCoy vs Kansas City 4) Jamaal Charles @ Philadelphia 5) Matt Forte @ Pittsburgh 1) Calvin Johnson 2) AJ Green 3) Demaryius Thomas 4) Julio Jones 5) Dez Bryant Tight Ends 1) Jimmy Graham 2) Jason Witten 3) Tony Gonzalez Sy Su's Sleeper: DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans WR Hopkins is coming off a huge week, 7 catches, 117 yards and the game-winning TD against the Titans. Most importantly, Matt Schaub is trusting the rookie WR with 13 targets! With Andre Johnson questionable, coming off a concussion, expect Schaub to continue making DeAndre his primary target in Week 3 against a struggling Ravens pass defense that has allowed 7 pass TDs (all from Peyton Manning's Week 1) so far. Not to mention, the rookie is confident, saying he feels like he "can be better than Andre" because Johnson tells him so. Bailey's Bench 'Em: Any Jacksonville player. Unless you absolutely need to play MJD or Cecil Shorts in a flex. However, the Seahawks are looking to dominate all three aspects of this game and will. Lil Bailey's Big Breakout Player: Jamaal Charles. He is looking to do great things for his new head coach and this is another great hurdle for him to accomplish.Wide Receivers

Fantasy Football Week 2

BEN'S BREAK OUT: AJ GREEN GREEN WAS DALTONS FAVORITE WEAPON WEEK 1, AS USUAL. HE WAS TARGETED A TEAM-HIGH 13 TIMES, HE HAD NINE RECEPTIONS FOR 162 YARDS AND 2 TOUCHDOWNS. HIS FIRST TOUCHDOWN WAS ON A 2-YARD PASS FROM ANDY DALTON, AND THEN THE SECOND FROM 45 YARDS, BOTH IN THE FIRST HALF. AJ WILL CONTINUE TO ROLL THIS WEEK AGAINST A POOR STEELERS TEAM. GREEN HAD 11 CATCHES FOR 124 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN IN TWO GAMES AGAINST PITTSBURGH LAST SEASON. SY SU’S SLEEPER: JULIAN EDELMAN (OWNED IN 53% OF ESPN LEAGUES, 79% OF YAHOO LEAGUES) – HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR BUSH PUSH LAST WEEK BUT LIKE MANY SLEEPERS, JULIAN EDELMAN IS YOUR CASE OF “UNKNOWN-TURNED-MUST-OWN!” ENTERING HIS FIFTH SEASON WITH ONLY FOUR TD RECEPTIONS, EDELMAN ADDED TWO IN WEEK ALONG WITH HIS SEVEN CATCHES AND 79 YARDS. HE’S TURNED INTO A PRIMARY TARGET FOR TOM BRADY, AT LEAST FOR NOW, WITH INJURIES TO ROB GRONKOWSKI (FOREARM), AND NOW, SHANE VEREEN (WRIST), DANNY AMENDOLA (GROIN), AND ZACH SUDFELD (HAMSTRING). EDELMAN WILL BE A BIG BENEFACTOR TO BRADY’S SUCCESS AGAINST THE RIVAL JETS (312 YDS/GAME, 13 TDS AND 1 INT). BAILEY'SBENCH BENCH 'EM: ANY STEELER PLAYER. ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE IS EMMANUEL SANDERS IN A FLEX POSITION OR IN LEAGUES WITH MORE THAN 12 TEAMS. TOP 5 QB'S PEYTON MANNING TOM BRADY TERRELLE PRYOR JAY CUTLER ANDY DALTON TOP FIVE RB'S ADRIAN PETERSON LESEAN MCCOY MATT FORTE JAMAAL CHARLES MARSHAWN LYNCH BONUS: STEVEN JACKSON FACES HIS OLD TEAM, ST. Happy New Year - Week 1 in Fantasy Football

SY SU'S SLEEPER - REGGIE BUSH Though he may be too well known as a sleeper, Reggie Bush could be my season-long sleeper pick! The former Miami Dolphin is going to a much better scenario in Detroit, armed with lethal offensive weapons in Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. Bush may not have a breakout game rushing against a stout Vikings rush defense that ranked 11th best last year, but look for him to play to his strengths and be terrific for PPR leagues, being one of Stafford's top targets and instead, making a 24-ranked Vikings pass defense pay for Reggae (http://youtu.be/mKnU3ETpIT8). BEN'S BREAK OUTS - ATLANTA RECEIVERS ALL OF ATLANTA'S RECEIVERS ARE A MUST START IN WEEK 1. I KNOW THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A COP OUT, BUT I AM JUST SO EXCITED ABOUT THE FALCON'S RECEIVING CORP THAT I COULD NOT DECIDE WHICH ONE WOUD HAVE A BETTER GAME. RODDY WHITE HAD 92 REC FOR 1351 YDS & 7 TD's LAST SEASON. JULIO JONES HAD 79 REC FOR 1198 YDS & 10 TD's LAST SEASON, WHILE TONY GONZALEZ HAD 93 REC FOR 930 YDS & 8 TD's LAST SEASON. THESE NUMBERS SPEAKS FOR THEMSELVES!! YOU CAN FEEL VERY CONFIDENT ABOUT STARTING ANY OF THESE GUYS ALL SEASON LONG! BAILEY'S BENCH EM - JORDY NELSON JORDY NELSON, FACES A TOUGH SAN FRANCISCO DEFENSE THIS WEEK AND THE GREEN BAY OFFENSIVE LINE IS STILL NOT AS STRONG AS COACH MIKE McCARTHY NEEDS. TOP 5 RB's - ADRIAN PETERSON - JAMAAL CHARLES - DOUG MARTIN - TRENT RICHARDSON - STEVEN JACKSON Bonus: Morris vs Philly (Philly has allowed the most rushing yards this preseason) TOP 5 WIDE RECEIVERS -CALVIN JOHNSON -DEZ BRYANT -JULIO JONES -AJ GREEN -RODDY WHITE TIGHT END TOP 3 -JIMMY GRAHAM -TONY GONZALEZ -JASON WITTEN TOP 5 QB's - MATT RYAN - DREW BREESE - TOM BRADY - RUSSELL WILSON - ANDREW LUCK
