Super Freak of the Week: Seahawks Defense The Seattle Seahawks Defense was on fire on Sunday in the 58-0 win against their division rivals the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks held the Cardinals to a pathetic 111 passing yards and only 43 rushing yards for a net total of 154 yards. The Seahawks had 4 interceptions as well as 4 fumble recovery in the defensive SHUTOUT! This is the first time we have chosen a Defense for the SFOTW, but we could not ignore this stellar defensive performance. Sy Su's Sleeper Week 15: Giants RB David Wilson Rookie running back David Wilson of the NY Giants first made headlines in October with his confident "I'll be in the Hall of Fame" statement but he certainly proved why he could after last week. His phenomenal 327 all-purpose yard performance set a Giants team record, in addition to 3 touchdowns. He's also the first-ever NFL player with 200+ kickoff return yards and 100 rushing yards in a game! Although he's listed only as a backup RB, expect Wilson to get a lot, if not, the majority of the work in Week 15 with lead RB Ahmad Bradshaw fragile and questionable to play (sprained knee). Eli & Big Blue will feed the red hot hands of Wilson against a porous Atlanta rush defense that ranks 23rd in rush yards per game after allowing 195 yards against Carolina. Bailey's Bench Em: Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin/ Eagles RB Bryce Brown This def isn't my flashiest Bench Em, but they are relevant. I'm here to tell you to not so excited about Nick Foles with his recent success & Bryce Brown putting up gaudy numbers in week 12 & 13. Brown only produced 12 total yds against a great Tampa rush D & will face another strong D in Cincinnati, who ranks 11th in rush yds/g. On the passing/receiving side for the Eagles, well that is going to be a rough match up even at home. Cincinnati's D is 1st in the league in sacks with a little over 3 a game, has 21 take aways on the year, & ranks 10th against the pass. I don't see the Eagles OL handling this front 7, and Cincinnati's corners are tough & effective. The Cincinnati D does allow 21 pts/g, but I don't see the Eagles putting up even 14 points. Stay away from the Eagles offense this week.
