Fantasy Football Weekk 12

Super Freak of the Week: Texans QB Matt Schaub Matt Schaub was out of control this weekend at home against the Jaguars. The Texans QB was 45 of 55 and threw for 527 yards and 5 touchdowns in the overtime victory over Jacksonville. Schaub threw 2 interceptions in the game, but when you throw 5 touchdowns and 527 yards you are bound to have a few mistakes. This stellar performance tied him with Warren Moon for the second highest yardage total in the NFL history. I have to throw in a Honorable Mention to 49er's LB Aldon Smith with 5.5 Sacks in Monday nights game against the Bears. He was just to much for the offensive line of Chicago to handle. Way to go Aldon! Nick's Pick: Bengals RB Benjarvus Green-Ellis Don't look now, but the Law Firm has been holding court in fantasy land. He's scored double-digit fantasy points and one touchdown in two of his last three games, and that's despite losing some work to Cedric Peerman. I'd start him against the Raiders who are giving up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing running backs on the road this season. Green-Ellis has quietly had a nice fantasy season. In deep leagues he is a must start at rb or flex. Bailey's Bench Em: Dolphins RB Reggie Bush This weeks Bench Em is Reggie Bush. Reggie has been playing at a very poor level the past few weeks & is not high on coach Philbins list right now. Bush hasn't rushed for over 67 yds in a game since week 2 & has only 2TDs in that span as well! Bush still is the best RB on Miami, but overall Miami is not helping Bush or the rushing game in general. And to top it off Bush & the Dolphins face a tough Seattle D. Seattle's rush D has slacked a little lately, but they have only allowed 5 rush TDs in 10 games. Also, Seattle is well rested after the bye week & Pete Carrol's game plan will def be to put the ball in Tannehill's hands. Do not start Reggie Bush this Sunday. Sy Su's Sleeper: Raiders TE Brandon Myers Gronkowski owners, do not fear! Brandon Myers is here! The Raiders tight end has been averaging 50+ yards and a touchdown for the last three weeks! He's also seen 30 balls thrown his way over that span thanks to the gun-slinging arm of Carson Palmer. Palmer would like to avenge his former squad this week against the Cincinnati Bengals, who've allowed the fifth most fantasy points to tight ends. He's available in more than half of NFL and ESPN fantasy leagues. View the Complete 30 minute Fantasy Football segment here.
