Fantasy Football Guide Week 13

Super Freak of the Week: Panthers QB Cam Newton & Patriots QB Tom Brady Cam Newton and Tom Brady both played out of their minds last week and earned the first Co-SFW! Newton was 18-28 with 306 passing yards and 2 passing touchdowns. Cam was having fun running the ball too, he had 14 carries for 52 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. Brady was equally as stellar in his performance on Turkey Day! Tom was 18-28 with 323 passing yards and 3 passing touchdowns, he also had a rushing touchdown. Two great performances worthy of our Super Freak of the Week!! Sy Su's Sleeper: Philadelphia Eagles RB Bryce Brown Grab Bryce Brown now while he's still hot! Mr. BB brought his "A" game last week against the Panthers, racking up 178 yards and 2 TDs on only 19 carries - production unseen by LeSean McCoy owners this season! The rookie's window of opportunity opened after McCoy's Week 11 concussion and he's expected to miss at least another week. The disastrous Eagles season is becoming even worse with injuries to McCoy, Michael Vick, and now DeSean Jackson, who's out for the remainder of the season with a rib injury. With the offensive anemia from the injuries, look for Brown to have a heavy workload. I wouldn't expect as explosive of a game from last week but he'll have a very productive game in Week 13 versus a weary Dallas Cowboys rush defense. DeMarcus Ware and company have allowed nine rushing TDs in the four of the last five weeks! Plus, asides from Week 10 versus McCoy & Philly, running backs have earned 100+ yards against the Cowboys. As long as Brown can secure the ball (2 fumbles last week), expect another double-digit fantasy point performance. Bailey's Bench Em:Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch & Bears RB Matt Forte I went with 2 Bailey's Bench Em this week, and both just happen to be RBs that play against each other this week @Chicago. If I had to chose only 1 I would go with Lynch, but both RBs have a tough D to go against & both are coming off horrible fantasy performances. Seattle gives up the 6th fewest fantasy points to RBs, but if their stud pro-bowl DT & local LA product, Brandon Mebane doesn't play that will hurt Seattle. Seattle may be 6th, but Chicago is 2nd in fewest points allowed against RBs, so Lynch & his OL will have their work cut out for them on the road. Also, both teams only allow a little over 2 TDs a game defensively, but I see those points from the Ks. On a side note, if Seattle's starting CBs, Brandon Browner & Richard Sherman play this week look for Brandon Marshall to struggle. I really wanted to go with Marshall, but how do I convince people to bench the #2 WR in fantasy?! In my opinion this game could be decide by STs, FGs, & TOs. Nick's Pick: Browns RB Trent Richardson
