Super Freak of the Week: Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson had the receiving game of his career on sunday against the Saints. Jackson hauled in seven receptions for a career high 216 yards and 1 touchdown in the loss to New Orleans. His only score was a 17 yard strike from QB Josh Freeman, and almost had another being pulled down at the 1-yard line after a 95 yard pass from his QB. This sudden display of fantasy production earned Jackson our Super Freak of the Week honors for Week 7. Sy Su's Sleeper: Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings With Maurice Jones Drew out at least a week with a sprained foot, Rashad Jennings not just takes the starting RB spot in Jacksonville, but actually deserves it. Jennings racked up 102 total yards (44 rushing, 58 receiving) and a touchdown last week with MJD leaving in the first quarter. Don't forget - Jennings was impressive enough in the preseason (209 yards in 4 games, 4.5 yards/carry) to make MJD's contract holdout an afterthought. With the subpar QB Blaine Gabbert (possible torn labrum) hurt as well, Jacksonville will turn into the "Jennings"-ville Jags as he'll be expected to carry the offense against a Green Bay defense that's allowed three TDs to RBs in the last two games. Bailey's Bench Em: Browns RB Trent Richardson Week 8's Bench Em is Trent Richardson. Not only is he banged up, but he says he is not going to sit this week. Trent played last week, but didn't finish the game. Trent hinted towards the same outcome this Sunday, announcing that Montario Hardesty would come in if he couldn't finish the game. So, we have all this focus on Richardson's injury & we haven't even talked about the Browns, who are facing the stingy San Diego rush D. San Diego only allows 71 yds/g rushing and only 2 rushing TDs all season. Richardson fantasy owners need to suck up their pride this week & next week when Richardson has his bye week & be patient for their playoff runs. Starting Richardson this week is going to be as stressful as ever. Nick's Pick: Colts QB Andrew Luck This week I'll go with Andrew Luck. He's been a pleasant surprise in the fantasy world this year proving he can hang with the big boys. He's also proven that he can score with his legs rushing for two touchdowns last week against a woeful Cleveland defense. This week he's facing a Tennessee defense that has given up the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. No quarterback this season has scored less that 15 points against the Titans defense this year. Look for Andrew Luck to continue his stellar rookie campaign and put up big numbers this week.
