Fantasy Football Guide Week 7

Super Freak of the Week: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers The Green Bay Packers MVP QB Aaron Rodgers had possibly the game of his career on sunday night against a tough Houston defense. He threw for a season-high 338 yards, a career-high 6 touchdowns and was 24-37 with no interceptions. Rodgers finished with his best passer rating of the year (133.8) and has at least three touchdowns in his last three games. Rodgers hit 3 different receivers for touchdowns, Jordy Nelson for 3, James Jones for 2, and Tom Crabtree caught the game long 48 yard touchdown. He tied a franchise touchdown record set by Matt Flynn in 2011. Sy Su's Sleeper: Browns WR Josh Gordon Cleveland receiver Josh Gordon has looked more like Flash Gordon in the last two weeks, speeding past the secondary and scoring three touchdowns in the last two weeks, including deep bombs of 71 and 62 yards. This trend is very likely to continue as the Browns face an Indianapolis Colts defense that's allowed five touchdowns in the last two games via wide receivers. Cleveland QB Brandon Weeden is expected to be busier than usual with fellow rookie Trent Richardson's rib injury possibly slowing down the running game. In October, Weeden's number one target has been Gordon with 12 total targets for the month. Nick's Pick: Cowboys RB Felix Jones We can conclude that Heath Miller had a mediocre week 6 with 6 rec for 67 yds. This week I feel confident in Felix Jones. If you were able to claim him off the waivers or had him buried on your bench, this is the week to start him. DeMarco Murray is week to week with a foot injury, and you can't be too sure how many guaranteed starts Jones will get. He's going up against a Carolina defense that has given up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing running back's. Start Felix Jones. Bailey's Bench Em: Jets RB Shonn Greene I hate to burst fantasy owners' bubble who own Shonn Greene, but Greene will be lucky to have a TD or even 10 points in standard leagues against New England. The benching of Greene is not so much of a statistical choice, but more of a instinctive choice. Greene faced a terrible Colts rush D @ home. Colts were coming down after an emotional high beating Green Bay & New England should be coming out strong after a 4th quarter collapse @Seattle. I think the Jets will be playing behind early, its a tough division game on the road, both teams love to beat the other, & New England is not gonna drop to a sub .500 record. I'm still gonna throw out some stats. Last week Greene faced a Colts team that has allowed 159yds/g & before the Colts faced Greene, they allowed 5 rush TDs in 4 games. While, New England only allows 83yds/g rushing & has only allowed 2 rushing TDs in 6 games. Sit Greene this week! View the Complete 30 minute Fantasy Football segment here.
