Fantasy Football Guide Week IV

Super Freak of the Week KC Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles - 33 Carries 233 Yds Avg. 7.1 YPC 1 TD 6 Rec 55 Yds Longest run 90 Yds Jamaal Charles is coming off a huge game last week at New Orleans as he heads into Week 4 against San Diego. Charles rushed 33 times for 233 yards and a touchdown and added 6 receptions for 55 yards against the Saints and now has two career games with at least 230 rushing yards. Charles has averaged 5.9 yards per carry for his career against the Chargers. Sy Su's Sleeper: RB Ryan Williams, Arizona Cardinals RB Tashard Choice, Buffalo Bills In remembrance of the infamous replacement referees, I'd like to replace my sleeper of Ryan Williams with another RB, Tashard Choice, at least for now. The third-string Bills back is my choice as sleeper with injuries to Fred Jackson and now, CJ Spiller. Reasons why Jackson and Spiller are known solid fantasy options is that the Bills have a reliable rushing attack so this week, Choice will be the benefactor. He already showed the benefits with 99 total yards on 20 carries and 2 catches, averaging nearly 5 yards per touch, after Spiller went down last week. Although some reports say Jackson could return from a sprained LCL, expect Choice to be the go-to guy till Jackson recovers to full strength. Nick's Pick: TE Dennis Pitta, Baltimore Ravens In the end zone for touch down. On to this week. I have been impressed with the Last week Antonio Brown salvaged my pick by miraculously recovering his own fumble amount of looks Dennis Pitta has been getting this year from Joe Flacco. He is 4th in the league amongst tight ends in receiving yards, and is another one of those “new brand” of tight ends popping up all over the NFL. He is going up against a Cleveland defense that does a solid job of stopping the run, but has struggled mightily against the pass. Look for Pitta to get plenty of looks not only on thursday night, but throughout the season as well. Bailey's Bench ems : RB Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams Trent Richardson & Shonn Greene are sketchy starts, but my player to bench this week is Steven Jackson of the Rams. Jackson goes up against a stingy Seahawks Defense, that only allows 59 yds/g rushing & a league low 13 pts/g. The Seahawks have allowed 43 yds in week 1, 49 yds in week 2 & 84 yds in week 3. The 2 longest rushes against Seattle were 15 & 20 yds & by WRs! The Seahawks have also forced 2 fumbles. Like I stated, do not start Steven Jackson this week!
