Fantasy Football Guide Week 3

Super Freak of the Week: NY Giants QB Eli Manning - 31/51 510 yards 3TD's 3Int Eli Manning struggled early in the first half of the game vs. Atlanta Falcons, but was able to rally in the 4th quarter throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns. His 510 yards were the second most for a quarterback in Giants' history. He continues to thrive late in games and can never be counted out when the ball is in his hands. Bailey's Bench 'Em: DEN Broncos RB Willis McGahee Last week Willis McGahee had 22 carries for 113 yards & 2 TDs. Well, that was against a poor Atlanta run Defense & this week is against a very tough Houston Defense. Houston has not alloweed a rusher of more than 70 yards and have given up no rushing TDs this year & that includes MJD last week. Houston has forced 4 fumbles, recovering 2 of them. Also, Houston has only alloweed 8.5 pts/g, that limits McGahee's chances of getting those golden 6 points. Sy Su's Sleeper: NY Giants TE Martellus Bennett Attention Aaron Hernandez owners! Need a tight end replacement? Martellus is your man! So far, through two weeks, Bennett has averaged 55 yards per game and a TD in each, posting the 5th most points for tight ends (in standard leagues)! Not to mention, Martellus was targeted ten times in Week 2! Grab this giant (6'6, 267 lbs) speedster (4.6 40yd dash) NOW especially with Hakeem Nicks out (foot injury). Don't worry if he's been picked up already, he's owned in less than half of ESPN leagues (49.6%) and only two-thirds of Yahoo leagues. Nick's Pick for week 3 My pick for this week's segment is Antonio Brown. He is going up against an Oakland DEF that allowed 200yds through the air to rookie QB Ryan Tannehill, also allowing 172 yds on the ground to Reggie Bush. With Brown's versatility being able to line up in the backfield and get a few carries as well as being the top targeted WR by Ben Roethlisberger I feel Antonio Brown is due to reach pay dirt at least once this week.
